December 10th El Monte had their Holiday Party at Mimi’s Restaurant in Monrovia.

July 14th El Monte BPW had a fundraiser at the Von’s Credit Union in El Monte. Members served a delicious lunch of tacos, beans and rice for a low price of $5 each. Desserts were extra. Usually El Monte BPW makes from $500 to more than $700 which they distribute in scholarships to re-entry women.

December 18th El Monte members celebrated the holidays at Mimi’s Restaurant in Monrovia.

April 13th Congressmember Judy Chu’s 10th Annual Congressional Women of the Year: Mavis Hansen was recognized for her service to the community including to the El Monte Business and Professional Women
