July 14th El Monte BPW had a fundraiser at the Von’s Credit Union in El Monte. Members served a delicious lunch of tacos, beans and rice for a low price of $5 each. Desserts were extra. Usually El Monte BPW makes from $500 to more than $700 which they distribute in scholarships to re-entry women.
