Saturday, April 20th is Sierra Mar District BPW’s Annual at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 2009 S. Garfield Avenue, Monterey Park starting at 9:00 A.M. with a short Memorial Service for members of Sierra Mar District, who passed away since April 2023. The regular meeting will start at about 9:15 A.M.  East Los Angeles-Montebello BPW is planning the meeting.  The morning speakers are Cynthia Cannady, Chair of the Natural Resources Committee of the League of Women Voters – Pasadena Area, and Kathy Berlin. The luncheon speaker is Sierra Mar District Young Professional Elizabeth Anne Marie Mitchell. The afternoon speaker is Monterey Park Mayor Thomas Wong.
